We have served as lead counsel for more than a dozen states in disputes and investigations involving the largest pharmacy benefit managers and pharmaceutical companies in the United States and have achieved significant successes on behalf of those clients.

Also, as lead counsel, our firm after litigation negotiated a twenty-two-state, $1.25 billion settlement with the nation’s largest provider of Medicaid managed care services. The settlement resolves allegations of overbilling and misreporting by the defendant’s wholly-owned PBM subsidiary. To our knowledge, the settlement is the largest of its kind in U.S. history, and of perhaps greater significance, the first to require as one of its provision’s full disclosures of the prices that are paid to each of the participants in the drug supply chain for drugs dispensed to Medicaid recipients.
